| Dr. Kerry Ridgway has a wealth of experience as an endurance rider, ride vet, equine chiropractor, equine acupuncturist, and saddle-fitter. Kerry is a charter member of the Association for Equine Sports Medicine. His endurance career started in 1967, and continues vetting rides. He served nine years as chair of the AERC veterinary comittee, and did much to make the sport safer for horses, bringing 'Fit to Continue' criteria for completion, and the Cardiac Recovery Index to the sport. | Dee Whelchel is from Atlanta, Georgia. She received a BS from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia in 1999 and a MS from the University of Georgia in 2003. Her thesis work examined the molecular actions of botulinum neurotoxin at the neuromuscular junction. Dee graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia in 2007 and completed an internship in Large Animal Medicine and Surgery at Texas A&M University in July 2008. Currently, Dee is a second year Large Animal Medicine Resident at the University of Georgia.
