Board of Directors:

Anne Ayala    As a competitor, an FEI ride manager and a 4 star FEI judge, Anne has served the endurance community in many important roles.  She received the 2000 Pard’ners Award with  Overlook Nuryev, more usually known as Beau.  anne ayala
Troy Ball Troy Ball   National championship winner in other disciplines, Troy completed her first year in endurance with two Best Conditions and a gold medal. She offers her fresh outlook and dedication to advancement as a founding member and president of the APEX team.
John Crandell, III    2006 US “Triple Crown” winner – the Old Dominion, the Tevis Cup and the National Championship, John is a dedicated international competitor and trainer who develops high performance strategies for the elite endurance athlete. John Crandell, III
Cheryl Newman Cheryl Newman     For riders seeking to improve their performance Cheryl offers her experience as a top ten competitor in every AERC region with multiple 100 mile wins. She is also an FEI ride manager and steward.
Stagg Newman    Stagg has earned national championships and international gold medals.  His horse, Ramegwa Drubin, was the 2003 Hall of Fame inductee and Stagg recently served as the 2006 president of the AERC.   Shown here with 5-time Old Dominion winner, Jayel Super. Stagg Newman
Dinah Rojek Dinah Rojek    Dinah has bred, raised and competed her competitive trail and endurance horses for over 25,000 miles.  She is an FEI official, an international team medal winner and has assisted other countries in development of their endurance programs.
Dr. Ann Stuart     Ann has supported all levels of US international endurance teams for ten years as Team Veterinarian or on the Chef  D’Equipe staff, helping riders win gold, silver and bronze medals. Ann Stuart, DVM

 

Key Clinicians (in addition to the Board):

Lisa Maxwell Lisa Maxwell    An accomplished classical dressage rider and trainer of the French school, Lisa works with horses and riders to achieve balance, self-carriage and harmony for improved performance in endurance racing.
Jeff Pauley    A certified journeyman farrier, Jeff has competed in reining and worked with USA East endurance as well as serving as the Team Farrier for USA Endurance in Aachen in 2006. Jeff Pauley
kerry ridgway working on an equine Dr. Kerry Ridgway    Kerry is a guest clinician who has a wealth of experience as an endurance rider, ride vet, equine chiropractor, equine acupuncturist, and saddle-fitter. 
Dr Todd Holbrook      Todd is a guest clinician who teaches at Oklahoma State University and is an active endurance vet.  His work deals with impacts of stress (e.g., trailering and 100 mile competitions) on horses, including occurence of Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome.

art king Dr Art King     Art has over 30 years as a veterinary judge, and is a familiar face at AERC and FEI endurance rides, judging over 20 events each year.  He is always ready to share his knowledge, with information on electrolytes, heat stress, nutrition, showmanship, and more.
